Hello Hello! I'm in a totally new area now!! This time I'm in Lopurii, often called the City of Monkeys because the main street is completely covered with monkeys, rabies and all. It also has the highest concentration of soldiers because this is where they mostly train. Also, it has a large suburban atmosphere. He's the line-up of what happened last week.
Monday
For B-Day, we went to อโศก to do some more fitting for the other Elders suits. Then, a good old 2 hour game of ping-pong. And then to S. นก and S. เบี้ยร์ for FHE
Tuesday
Today, we traveled to แจ้งวัฒนะ to go renew my visa. There, I got to meet some more people from my group and even My cousin again along with her boyfriend. Afterwards, we traveled to Que Pasa for lunch. We returned to teach S. แนน about the 10 commandments. Then, we taught English Class. Afterwards, to finished up this wonderful day, we TimTam Slammed.
Wednesday
We went to อโศก to finally finish up our suits. They are pretty slick-looking. After that, we met up with S. น้อย to review the Plan of Salvation. After that, ping ping and dinner. On this night as well, I'm packing all my stuff. I'm going to miss ศรีนครินทร์
Thursday
Transfers! Oddly, only 2 missionaries came in. A third one had visa troubles and won't be here for a while. However, my new area will be........................... Lopurii!!! My new companion is Elder Reid. He's a chill Elder and was comps with Elder Boonmee in Surin. So, the rest of the day, we said our hellos and goodbyes, had lunch and dinner, and drove towards Lopurii. It's at the very far northern edge of Bangkok. I'm living with Elder Garner and Elder Hartung now. Elder Garner was from my group and Elder Hartung is this giant dude from Pennsylvania. He's loves to talk talk talk so much that he talks to himself while taking a shower...using two different voice to start a conversation. But, he speaks super good Thai.
Friday
Now in Lopurii, the house is kinda....old...the bathroom looks like a death chamber...Anyways, we ate lunch at Big C and weekly plan as a district, much different than before. We then invited at a market for over 3 hours. With a sick voice like mine, it was rather painful
Saturday
Today, we went to the church to teach S. เดียร์ (Dia or maybe Dear if the R really gets pronounce or not), a 19 year-old woman who is going to college pretty soon. With her, we taught about the Plan of Salvation. Afterwards, we taught her and her friend S. กุกใก่ (Gukguy) the Restoration. They will both be baptized next Sunday.
Sunday
We went to Church. I have no clue who's who. Afterward, we taught a new investigator, S. อี้. She's a 14 year old girl who has a grandmother in the US who's a member. Her grandmother wanted her to go to church and she did. There, we taught a little about the gospel. After that, we visited some member homes and invited some people at a park to come to church.
That's all for this week. This might be a very fun area to be in. We will see. See ya all next week!!!!!
